This vintage cigar has a nice milk chocolate brown wrapper and a slightly squared box-pressed shape. The wrapper is rustic looking with some veins and it feels a little lumpy to the touch. It has that Cuban "barnyard smell" mixed in with a little cedar. The complexity of flavours in this Petit Corona is impressive and its taste remains consistent throughout the smoke.

The El Morro is the biggest cigar in the San Cristobal De La Habana range. It got its name in honour of the city of La Habana. It's not a Double Corona in length, but it is in its ring size. Good aroma and strength in flavour. Ripe earthy and peppered flavours burst into a potent finale. This cigar was released in 2001 so these boxes are amongst the first ever rolled. 16 years down the line, we here have an excellent vintage cigar that deserves respect and admiration.
